For some reason most of the steampunk ones are green this time… I think I need to go shopping for supplies, most of the hearts I have left are green at the moment. Also, some of them have the new key charms I’ve recently got and will be using from now on until further notice (they’re bigger but I like them better than the previous ones).
The pendants are available in my Etsy shop, in the gothic and steampunk sections.
I don’t make steampunk stuff all the time, sometimes I need a break from it, that’s why I keep a stash of pretty semi precious stones in my desk, in case I get good ideas.
These pendants are relatively simple, made from a rather small piece of wire, and the common thing about them is the bead shape and a decorative bead on the top. The black agate one is double sided.
All available in my Etsy shop: black agate, amethyst, green jasper and brown jasper.
I’m still experimenting with the right shape for my pendants, also looking for beads that go with the dichroic glass cabs, which is not easy, because they usually change colours depending on from which angle you look at them. Metallic coated fire polished glass seems to work best.
The pendants are available in my shop: green, purple, blue and brown (the green one is also based on a gold plated watch piece – nicer colour!)
There’s still time to order a gift before St. Valentine’s Day so I made even more of the popular hearts so you can have more choice. The pendants are available in my shop, in the steampunk section and gothic section.
Well, they’re fairly irregular for teardrops and the third one is actually tooth shaped. Something I made in the meantime when I was bored with the usual stuff. I wish I had more side drilled agate in cooler shades (temperature-wise cooler, not awesomeness-wise cooler), but the batch I’ve got recently is mostly brownish red, sometimes orange or yellow, so I’m pretty much restricted to matching it with carnelian and other similar stones. It’s fun to make them every now and then, though
Two agate teardrops, available in my Etsy shop here and here
and one double sided amethyst tooth (available here) with quartz inclusions (or is it a quartz with amethyst inclusions? amethyst is technically a quartz anyway), which I called “Purple Winter” on deviantArt.
