One is a teardrop side-drilled bead and the other is a smooth chunk with no drilling. I used smaller beads (garnet, onyx, hematite and others) to decorate. These are mostly freeform, I can’t say what exactly inspired me, I just went on with the wrapping until I was out of wire. Available in my Etsy shop: [pink one] and [clear one].
Pendants like these were one of the first I designed. 2cm bead and relatively simple wrapping (in comparison to my other designs). I haven’t been making them in a while and everybody seemed to like them, so I figured I’d make a batch. These are green and pinkish brown (you might call them steampink, actually). Available in my shop.
The central wire wrapped pieces of these necklaces have been ready for quite a while, but I had to decide which beads to use for the rest of the necklace and had to collect enough of them. I was trying to go for the casual asymmetric look. Autumn colours available here. Pink and purple colours available here.
I’ve had several requests for Cthulhu pendants in other colours that I usually make and certainly different that Cthulhu is supposed to be (which is green). The explanation was that a powerful creature like this would be able to transform itself and appear in any colour it liked. Fair enough, I’ve got wire in many colours :> So here’s a purple and a pink Cthulhu. The pink one is made with a pale pinkish lampwork …
As a friend of mine stated: That is not dead which can eternal lie (even if it’s pink) And with strange aeons even death may die. Sometimes I just have to make something for fun, or I’ll just lose my sanity. I made it yesterday (Valentine’s Day). I wish I had tiny heart beads for eyes, but I don’t so the usual ones will have to do. Not sure what to do with it yet, …
More heart pendants (and this isn’t all!), and this time three plain and three steampunk. Who said that Valentine’s Day has to be about pink and red? All available in my Etsy shop in lampwork and steampunk sections.
I’m stocking up for the Valentine’s Day. I really have a lot of these heart-shaped 2cm beads (sometimes 3cm, which are better) so I decided to use them finally and make some Valentine pendants. First batch: three regular (well, relatively; the spotted one looks like a cow dressed up as a flower) and three goth style. All available in my Etsy shop in gothic and lampwork sections.
