Shamrocks

I was a little bit late with the shamrock production this year, but there’s still some time until St. Paddy’s day. I tried different wire and bead combinations this time. Available in my Etsy shop: warm green shamrock, light green shamrock, green wire shamrock and blue shamrock.

Some lampwork earrings

I’ve wanted to do earrings like this for a long time now – created on one continuous piece of wire. But the wire I’ve had so far was too soft for this (or too hard to be comfortably shaped at all), until I got a wire anvil and hammer. Hammering makes the wire hold its shape better and generally harder, so now it’s easy for me to go on with this idea. Also, while I’m …

New skill, cat pendant & more

I’m trying my skill in hammering wire. It’s been going pretty well, considering I’ve started just yesterday. I just hope that my neighbours won’t kill me, because the process can be quite noisy and rather annoying. I’ve made several pairs of earrings and a couple of pendants so far, so have a look: Copper kitty on a big onyx bead. (Available) A rather huge agate slab pendant with some natural turquoise beads; the wire is …

Lampwork beads

Being a bead addict, I buy a lot of mixed lots with lampwork glass beads. I always like to be surprised, although for some beads I don’t have an immediate purpose. These are some of the most interesting ones I’ve got recently.

St. Patrick’s Day pendant

Normally I don’t do holidays, and you won’t see me making Christmas or Easter themed jewellery. This year however my friends at the IrelandART group at the deviantArt organized a St. Patrick’s Day Art Challenge, and I’ve had idea for this pendant for a while now, so it seemed like as good opportunity to finally make it as any. The shamrock is made of lampwork heart shaped beads and enamelled wire. It’s quite big too, …

Valentine pendants

I’m stocking up for the Valentine’s Day. I really have a lot of these heart-shaped 2cm beads (sometimes 3cm, which are better) so I decided to use them finally and make some Valentine pendants. First batch: three regular (well, relatively; the spotted one looks like a cow dressed up as a flower) and three goth style. All available in my Etsy shop in gothic and lampwork sections.

Another approach to steampink

The previous steampink creations were fun and people laughed, but they weren’t very popular due to being, well, too pink. This is another approach to the subject, the pink shade is less fierce and looks more vintage, and the wire is the same gunmetal wire that I use for all steampunk creations. Available on Etsy.

Morning star earrings

I’ve been planning to do this for a long time now, I was waiting for two identical beads. Morning star (Morgenstern) is a type of medieval spiked mace, either on a chain or not. These beads have always reminded me of it :D If anybody wants them let me know, I’ll list them.
