Skeleton cameo Halloween pendant

Thinking about the upcoming Halloween, I made this pendant – perhaps it will go with somebody’s outfit? I’ve spent a lot of time making this, about four hours (about twice longer than my average pendant). A lot of fire polished beads in this one too: hematite-black and iris-crystal clear. Available on Etsy.

Steampunk pocket watch blue set

The base of this pendant is the main part of a vintage pocket watch movement. I added sapphire/cobalt blue beads (lampwork and fire polished glass) and a lot of gears. I’m quite fond of this colour combination. I kept the earrings simple, because the pendant is quite detailed and I did not want to split the focus. Available on Etsy.

Steampunk pocket watch cameo

Another creative way to deal with a cameo. I glued it onto a vintage pocket watch movement instead of a classic cameo setting, and then wrapped it with wire. I love how it came out. Also, there’s slightly victorian feeling to it. Available on Etsy.

Steampunk/gothic purple set

I usually get my supplies from glass bead mixes, so it’s hard to get matching beads for a set in most cases. There is a considerable demand for sets, though, so I decided to make some, and also ordered some beads that will match the beads that I already have. Until I get my order, I will use what I already have (not much, I’m afraid but will be enough for four or five more). …

Steampunk dangle earrings

It took me a good while before I figured out how to wrap these, but I’m happy with how they came out. They are quite rare, as there is only one piece like that per watch, and they vary in shape, size and texture between different watches. I manage to find similar ones from time to time, though. Available on Etsy.

Steampink!

The idea came from a typo, “i” is just next to an “u” on the keyboard. The typo brought ideas and many creative possibilities that made me giggle. Why take everything so serious, right? So I bought some pink wire and made this. I hope that the true steampunk fans won’t kill me for this.  ;) Available on Etsy.

Classic wire wrapped cameo

Taking a small break from the steampunk style, I made this classic-looking and more or less symmetric pendant. It is slightly gothic/victorian looking, though. I used some Czech fire polished beads (iris neutral and blue) for decoration. The cameo cabochon is glass. Available on Etsy.

Black steampunk cameo

This time I made a neutral toned pendant, which makes it fit into the gothic style, and left the chain out, which made it look like a more traditional cameo, just slightly steampunk modded. I used Czech fire polished beads and various watch parts. Available on Etsy.
