Clockwork hearts

I’m really trying to stay away from the general “cuteness”, so when I’ve got heart-shaped beads in my assorted glass batches, I thought “yuck”. Blue blood

I only had one bead like this: large, sapphire coloured venetian glass, so I waited to use it until I had gold plated wire (just didn’t seem to go with anything else). Heart in a golden cage

The first thing I did when I’ve got the beads yesterday was to photograph them. Then I picked one of them and made this. New batch of glass beads

I bought on Ebay some venetian glass mixes in colours suiting my steampunk creations and I wasn’t disappointed. Most of the beads will go with the style perfectly. I feel oficially inspired.

Copper steampunk earrings

I ordered a bag of copper beads, that looked like mechanism parts on a photo.
