Purple and silver earrings

I love purple. I never use the whole batch of beads immediately, but this was the closest I’ve got to it. I had a string of these purple dyed agate beads, perfect for earrings. This is just one of the pairs, but I’ve made about six or seven pairs (some of which I often wear). The wire is silver plated nickel-free one, and the small beads are natural howlite. Available on Etsy.

Geode pendant

Finally I figured out what to do with the unusual geode halves. I didn’t know how to wrap them until I’ve got grey wire, which matches most of them perfectly. I really like how it came out. Not for sale, at least not until I make more of them (I have too keep this one in case I forget how to do the wrapping).

Long black agate pendant

I’ve made this pendant a while ago, I have no idea why I haven’t posted it yet. It’s a beautiful black agate bead with translucent and brown spots. I used two wires: gunmetal and silver plated to make the pendant even more unusual. It’s quite traditional in comparison to my other creations, though. No crazy colours and forms, just a floral inspired wrapping in quiet tones. Available on Etsy.

Purple agate oval pendant

Normally I don’t like “wavy” beads, but I misunderstood the information in the store and ordered them, because I thought they were straight. No harm, though, as they’re high quality and have a nice colour. It’s hard to match them with anything, so I thought it would be best to go with neutral beads this time: grey labradorite and white howlite. I quite like how it came out. Available on Etsy.

Fluorite and silver teardrop pendant

I have these beautiful fluorite drop-shaped beads, but I’m always afraid that they will crack while I wrap them. I don’t know why, because it happens with agate rather than fluorite. This one has beautiful purple and green stripes. I used amethyst beads and non-tarnish silver plated wire, which in this case looks ok. Available on Etsy.

Ice white agate pendant

I’m not sure whether this wire was a good choice, as this is the non-tarnishing silver plate, which is warmer in tone than the regular one. The bead itself is beautiful, with a druzy geode part inside, which looks like crackled ice. Available on Etsy.

Custom earrings

I was asked to make matching earrings for this labradorite and garnet pendant: I came up with this, although I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a similar design on the deviantArt somewhere: I’ve made several pairs with different wire and bead combinations and then I got bored with the design. I’m not sure whether to list them online, right now I’m wearing one pair to see if they’re not too heavy.
