Industrial eye pendant

I had a problem categorizing this pendant. It’s slightly steampunkish but does not contain any watch parts, just wire, beads and a lot of chains. I settled for “industrial” in the end, as this term is somewhat wider than steampunk. It’s still in the Steampunk section of my shop, because Etsy doesn’t allow more categories than I already have.

I used a tiny dichroic glass cab from For The People glued onto a brass connector as a focal point. The rest is my freeform work.

Agate pendants

Agate is one of my favourite minerals. The natural one is usually brown and grey, although there are more variations, but it can also be dyed in various colours, which I learned to appreciate over time, especially when the dye job looks well. The first one is one of the natural brown slices I brought over from Poland last year. I used malachite beads to compliment it. The other one is a dyed bead, and the colours are sort of reverse (brown on green, not green on brown). Enjoy!

Picasso jasper pendants

My favourite variety of jasper is “picasso jasper”, that earned its name due to picture-like markings. I swear sometimes the beads I get look like landscape or abstract paintings. And beautiful too.

As you can see I’m still fond of the spiky and asymmetric style when it comes to semi-precious stone pendants.

Dichroic glass pendants.

I’ve been working on this new kind of pendant, gothic style but without chains or other dangling bits. I used dichroic glass cabs as a base, I’ve got about a whole drawer of them in various colours. These pendants are quite big, but next time I will try to find out how small a cab can I use in such a creation.

Going away for a bit

I am off to my hometown for some family and friends time. Will be back in late April. Please contact me about any custom orders then, because if you do it now I might just forget about them if they pile up. Meanwhile I’m taking a lot of supplies with me and will make a lot of those heart pendants that you all love, so rest assured there will be plenty of them when I come back!
